Not to moan ( but hey its Monday).

Covers are harder than the actual technical lessons on here as it is hard to play like the original guitarist.

I find the covers lessons on here a bit vague. It is a video of someone playing the song under the assumption you already know how to play it.

" OPEN E STRING TWICE". ( It is also patronising) . Can we have like timing issues mentioned and up stroke down stroke and a bit more technical advice provided unless your saying James hetfield is a crap guitarist? ( then fair play)

For example the latest Orion lesson. Sorry to just pick out the Orion lesson as I've noticed on a few how vague they are.

Can we please have clear precise instructions of someone playing each part slowly then fast with tab and guitar pro files please. ( I don't ask for much in life, honest!!).

There is no Tab and no Guitar Pro file because of copyright issues, but like you said it would be cool if the lessons would include more spoken parts about rhythm and things to be aware of when playing the song rather than just saying what to play. The lessons are great as they are, but they would reach another level when they include the things mentioned.

If you write fast, you can make your own tab, or just pause the video now and then.
I am with you on the part that they are like some sort of spoken tab,
which is extremely helpful as it is, but to know some more of the music theory behind the song would be cool indeed

I actually kinda like the fact that they're vague, it forces me to use my ears more It does make it more difficult, but nothing in life thats worth having comes easy. Although I do agree that the theory behind the music should be explained in a little more detail, like on the David Walliman lessons.

One thing you have to realize is not all the instructors speak English as their first language, so getting into exceptional detail may not be the best way to do it for them. With that being said, I think they do a great job with their English skills, just sometimes someone needs to go back and correct some grammatical errors

The main reason for this are the copyrights. It's simply a format of famous song lessons that we can use. However, using these instructions can be difficult at first, depending what you used to. After a while you will see that you can follow these instructions much more easily. It's all a matter of practice and habit. Try to be a bit patient and you will see how you can follow the voice and play in the same time after a while. You will focus on your ear and the way it is supposed to be played, instead of using tabs and MIDI.

This is really an existing problem, for us instructors too, but there are copyright problems, as said.
But I think we could help more with an added spoken-explanation video, where we can speak about the song more detailed (rythm, scales, timing, theory etc. . . .) It would help a lot I think.
