Time to shoot a few rec takes :) So I chose this cool lesson by Gabriel, in the style of the Arctic Monkeys. Christian

I like this take as well! You did a good job learning this lesson!
The same problem here your right hand is rushing and when you are switching from string to string some notes are not coming out! The thing is your hands are not synced together!
If you will practice this lesson slow for a little while you will see some huge progress in a few days!
You can join my mentoring program and I will give you some cool exercises to sync your hands and develop your timing fast!

Other than that good job!

Hi mate! I'm glad to find this lesson at the REC! The take isn't bad but it need some timing adjust in many sections. It seems that your right hand can't reach comfortable the 16th notes riffs. This makes the tune sound a bit out of timing most of the time, mainly in the single note riffs. I recommend you to isolate each riff to work on it over metronome at slower tempos. Then increase it until you reach the lesson's tempo.

Exactly mate smile.gif as Gabe and Alex noticed, timing and sync are the main problems here smile.gif you should slow things down and learn each section separately - practice it slow until it sounds perfect, then speed it up. Once you can play all the sections on their own, tie them together at a slow tempo, increasing speed as you discover you can play perfectly smile.gif

cheers

Christian in da house ! I enjoyed this take a lot. You did quite well at those 16th notes. It sounded like you kept up the pace most of the time but got thrown off track when changing to the A string. However, your picking has definitely improved.

Any other errors were mainly timing based, you were slightly rushing some of the other picked phrases.

Having said that, your overall feel and rhythm has increased massively in the time I've known you.. and does it need to be said that you have tons of attitude ! cool.gif
