Here is where the magic happens: the REC board turns bedroom guitarists into real pros. Remember - it doesn't matter if you fail or pass, as long as you keep posting REC takes you will progress.
The entries will be graded by a number of instructors. After grading, members will be accredited with the appropriate points if they pass, and adjustments will be made to their REC level.
Passing grade is 7.5 or higher.

Very good, pretty decent timing and picking. Main problem I see is anchoring the fingers to the body of the guitar, you should try not to do that, but to make your hand floating. It takes a while to get adjusted to this, but it pays out (specially for rhythm work). Other problem is that your guitar is slightly out of tune, so try to fix that if possible. That bend that you do on the 3rd fret in the main riff, should be done more from the wrist, and with the side of the index finger, less with the index finger itself.

The first thing I noticed is out of tune :/ .The second thing, your riffing is not as tight as it should be. The timing is relatively good and with a little more exercise this will be great shot !

Good take man and nice guitar!!
Your tone is really good on this take as well as the quality of your video. It would be great if you can do a different mix the next time with the backing track a bit louder. As Sinisa said the guitar has a string out of tune, that's something that you always have to check before starting a recording. The take is good, your palm muting and playing in general is clean. There are some little timing issues that you should fix but nothing so serious, just pay attention to it. -------------------- Visit my Personal Board
