man these masterclasses keep rolling off the press!
I cannot keep up, still on the slash and blues lessons.

You like to keep yourself busy dont you Kris.!

BTW love the Lenny Kravitz riff. worked out the second part myself before you put it up on the site.
For me that was impressive. A good bit of ear training. or the fact that im a big lenny fan and can here that tune in my head. lol laugh.gif

He He yeah practice like mad! had to go back to some very basics with my private tutor. having big problems with strumming. cannot get gallop & reverse gallop right at all, nor very fast up & down strokes on my bottom E (muted) i meet too much resistance on the upstroke which sends my timing out! if you understand :eye

will look for your ultimate guitar lesson BTW took ages for me to find your last one as the link you posted on the site expired on U.G's site!

But do i want any more lesson at the moment?/?!!???**** :think

Still having trouble with them!! AAAGGGHH my middle finger is still no were near bottom E for muting its more like near the B string. though muting the D string has improved!!

If you try practicing picking with accent on the upstrokes that should do the trick (if you give it some time). Just like one of the picking exercises in Speed, Tone & Theory.

It should definately give you some upstroke strength... /K

Today was the first time I really looked at this lesson.. And I love it biggrin.gif

I have practise this lesson 2 hours now and I feel that I am better than Yesterday smile.gif

More lesson in this genre would be great smile.gif

Thats crazy squeek is driving me nuts
>:< >:< >:<

You hit the whammy and string , and then lift your finger and keep it soft on the string to make that harmonic sound ?
it sounds easy but im not getting it sad.gif

Posted by: Kristofer Dahl Jul 11 2006, 09:16 PM

It is not that easy - "whipping" the string can be quite a challenge. People usually hit the string way to hard - thereby producing a real note.
