I'm not sure..I guess medical personal are looking into it. I sincerely hope it was not a OD, or something like that. I hope he went peacefully. He is now at rest with Randy.

That is sad. I don't think QR get the credit they deserve. They were one of two or three bands that turned me toward screaming guitars and harder rock music in general. I remember hearing them for the first time when I was a 12-13 year old when they broke out. My musical tastes changed overnight and I never looked back. RIP Kevin.

My first memory of Quiet Riot was from when I was probably around 10 or so; I was at the ice skating rink, and "Cum on Feel the Noize" came on the loudspeaker...and it was the greatest freakin' thing I had ever heard - you see, my parents wouldn't let me listen to rock or metal (unless it was religious), so I had never been exposed to this type of music before. I can remember that I actually stopped skating just so I could listen to the music better. I started going ice skating every Saturday after that just to listen to the music that was playing. I never did get very good at skating, and I don't think I've skated in about 15 years or so, but I still dig those tunes laugh.gif

R.I.P. Kevin DuBrow, and thanks for the memories.

I don't know why but the death of the guitarist from Hawthorne Heights even saddened me more than this guy. I hate screamo and love classic rock, but there is just something about that guy in Hawthorne Heights...someone I know met him once sitting alone in a sandwhich shop and sat down with and said he was about the nicest guy ever; he speaks for animals, which is something I think is important; plus he was like 26.
