GMC Forum _ PRACTICE ROOM _ Check This Old Gmc'er

Posted by: Sean_1234 Nov 21 2011, 10:50 PM

Hey guys,

my good friend and former GMC colleage Kaz (Kaznie_NL) has posted another video. This time jamming to a Jack Thammarat track, the famous Thai musician wink.gif I think he has improved a lot since he left, and some of the oldies around might still be familiar with him. They might wanna see this!

For Admins: If this troubles you, because of Kaz' forced GMC removal, just remove this post, My apologies wink.gif

Awesome to see Kaz is improving and rocking! smile.gif I'm not sure what seems to be the problem, if there is any at all, but keep on rocking Kaz! smile.gif

nice playing - vibrato is a bit shallow (weak) imo. He needs to grab those strings and take the for a ride to give it the feel his playing deserves. But all in all, good stuff! ^.^

I like his vibe all in all, but, pardon my curiosity...what did he do to get kicked out?

Cool responses guys, I'll pass it on!

Totally nice one! laugh.gif

I suppose Kaz still has access to the forums, right? So he'll be able to read this.

Some cool licks there, although it was a bit lacking in the punch and emotion to me. Stuff like striking the strings harder, more aggressive vibrato, all sorts of crazy tricks (banging the guitar's body, harmonics etc) and other things like that would do this kind of energetic song better IMO. But he sure has developed.

yep that kinda struck me to, his vibrato needs to be more emotional to give it a more vivid feel!

pretty much as the quote says above Cosmin, he kicked himself out, I cant remember the full ins and outs but was a collection of things finishing with one that he went too far with, I personally thought it a great shame, Kaz was a great contributor and an eager student, immaturity at that point simply got the better of him.

that said, like Skenny I knew Kaz had and still has the drive and determination to improve, and his youtube vids of late show great improvement, sure he needs work, but lets face it, who doesnt? great job Kaz if your reading this, keep rockin dude! smile.gif

Maybe it's time to give him a second chance? Everyone makes mistakes, but I'm sure he learned his lesson and I would like to see him back at GMC. Don't know if he'd be willing to come back, but it would be nice to have a great contributor to the forums back in action.
His youtube channel totally rocks, and I agree with Chris, he shows great improvement.

Keep rocking buddy wink.gif
