How do you guys learn all of the notes of the fretboard?

I know all of the ones that I use consistently for chording, but I'm terrible with the higher strings.

I'm going to start learning me some scales seriously and naming off the notes of the scale as I play it but is there such a software that exists to help you learn it or quizzes you?

Other than this, what else can I do to aid the process?

Well couple of methods available. I would suggest that you try to learn the notes, not only on the fretboard, but in the same time learn them by ear - how they ring.

It'd be cool if FretPro played the note at the time that it asked you!

I'm also going to try singing along with my scales as I play them. Unfortunately my own voice makes me cringe right now.

A good (no: great!) method is to play through all the notes on all the strings, one at a time.
Take C, for instance:
Find and play it on your low E string, then on the A string, the B string, and so on.
Move on to D and find and play it on the low E string.
Etc.

Start with one note, until you can locate, play and sing the note, string by string.
Then add a note at a time until you can locate and name all the notes.
