Any kind of exercise is good for developing speed - if you play it up to speed! smile.gif

So is there any special technique you wanna do mate?

I think something that helps get a little faster is to develop your skills with the weaker fingers.

I leave you an Ex. to work the little finger.

To play fast you gotta start using speed in your jamming.
Play some 3notes per string shreds at your top speed.

You gotta do it alot, but a decent low string shred won't take too many weeks to develop.
Jam alot, and play fast.

Excersizes tend to get really boring, and you just skip it and do something else.
Anyway, I worked on all my techniques through jamming.'

Why not have fun as you train?
