Here is where the magic happens: the REC board turns bedroom guitarists into real pros. Remember - it doesn't matter if you fail or pass, as long as you keep posting REC takes you will progress.

The entries will be graded by a number of instructors. After grading, members will be accredited with the appropriate points if they pass, and adjustments will be made to their REC level.
Passing grade is 6 or higher.

Original lesson: Hard Rock Dyads by Sinisa Cekic

Time to work on my hard rock chops, so I recorded Sinisa's great lesson today. I used my Ibanez, Reaper, GR4 and a webcam. Christian

Great ! Superb hard tone ,i like it smile.gif. Now, you have fine maneuver smile.gif, nice sense of timing, but still missing some vibe on it, e.g. where is a small vibrato on C5, or a few pinch harmonics during chromatic passage.. Just polish it a bit and it's gonna be a superb shot !
Yeah, tiny glitch at 0:29 wink.gif ... 9

Yes, another solid take.. good timing, your pal muting has improved. As Sinisa said, some minor glitches and I would add that the open string licks could be tighter but I also throw you a 9 smile.gif

Good job mate! I also agree with Sinisa about this take. There are some short sections that also has some little timing issues and the overal feel should be groovier but you are very close. Also, your tone is killer on this one! smile.gif

Hey again man - out of all the three takes you have posted, this one is the best because it grooves the most wink.gif polish the stuff S-man has pointed towards and you are meant for the 10 wink.gif

Well played! I can see your right hand/palm muting getting better as well smile.gif All the insane, palm muted drills are paying off! This is a good example also of where the thumb over the top works well as a ballast and balance. This is really near perfect. NICE!
