I need help. For some reason I can't get the backing tracks to play on Kristopher Dahl's 101 Spoken Lessons. Specifically the "Tapping-2 Randy Rhoades Style Lesson" or any of his 101 spoken lessons for that matter.
I've been practicing these lessons for a while with no problems but now for some reason (I believe the problem is with my computer but I don't know what I could have done) when I click on the backing tracks link, the window pops up where it shows the selection of backing tracks to be played at different speeds, like always. But now when I click on any of the selections, it doesn't do anything. I tried right clicking on a selection and I get a "Windows Internet Explorer" window that says "function disabled". I assume I have to figure out how to turn this function back on, but I'm pretty computer stupid and I was hopeing some one out there could help me.
someone , anyone, please, heeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeelp! anyway thanks and happy Halloween

Check to make sure you don't have a pop up blocker enabled. Google toolbar or any other toolbar installed could be the problem. Also to many different spyware and or adware programs installed can cause a problem. You should only have 1 installed.

Also rebooting your computer could help. I am not sure if you are working on a laptop and use hibernation but that can cause a lot of problems.

If the above things don't work try setting all of your browser settings (security and everything back to the defaults).

"Think of a guitar solo as a paragraph. You need a clear beginning, a middle, and an end. Look at musical phrases like sentences, and make sure you break them up using punctuation—or space. You pause naturally when conversing, right? If you don't, you'll bore the listener. The same thing will happen with your audience if your solo is one dimensional. You'll wear them out and lose their attention." —Tom Principato
