Hi Etienne!! Welcome to your Gab's Army thread!!

Could you please tell me a bit about you, your musical tastes, influences, strengths and weaknesses? I would need some videos of you playing rhythm and solo guitar, so please post your best material here. If you have some music or ideas of your own, also post them here. Also let me know how you think that I can help you and what are your expectations for our job. You can check the other Army's thread to discover the different modalities of this project.

The principles of our Army are:

+ Improve your technique
+ Make music and solos
+ Have fun
+ Destroy the enemy (hahaha not realy just kidding... )

Hi Etienne! Nice video!! It really helps me to know your playing. I think that you get a good tone thanks to your picking strength. I notice that your hands are a bit slow, so we have to work on training exercises for both hands. Another thing that needs some improvement is your vibrato technique. I also noted that you play everything with your thumb behind the neck, I mean that you never put your thumb over the neck. I prefer use both ways, depending on what I'm playing. If I play something that requires speed or big stretches, I use your way, but If I'm playing something more rocker, with bends and wide vibrato, I prefer putting the thumb over the neck.

Let's start with this lessons:

LESSON #1 – WARMING UP & ENDURANCE

Please tell me what you think!! smile.gif

Ok, let's start designing a "one hour" guitar session to be worked every day. The topics that I would cover are:

Warming up (5 minutes)

Alternate Picking (15 minutes)

Legato (15 minutes)

Advanced / Combined techniques (15 minutes)

Feeling / Expression (dynamics, vibrato, bending) (15 minutes)

What do you think? Do you have some favorited GMC lessons for this topics?
