Cant Seem To Crack Legato |

The tab is correct, you just got it wrong: if it says -8h-10-it means to hammer-on the 10th fret. Every time we come back to 8 we play it with pull-off so the tab is correct.
Speed is something that can't be achieved over night. Especially not the legato. Playing clean is the first goal. After you can play some lick slow and clean you can think of getting speed. Finger strength is required for legato and most players don't have it because they think of a strength in a "muscle" way. To gain strength in your fingers you have to practice legato for a pretty long period of time, and it has actually more to do with stamina and not physical strength. Keep practicing and you'll see results.
