Application architect/programming by day, and music by night. I work a typical 9-5 in the states, followed by family time til around 9:30 when they go to bed, then I pick up my gear and head to my studio from 10:00 til about 2:00 a.m. where I practice, then rinse and repeat. Pretty much my life story right there. Oh, but I do go out to play on Tuesday nights! Hi lite of my week actually - playing live in front of real people!
jams -------------------- The more I practice, the more I wish I had time to practice!

I basically do factory work for a very well known bakery in the states. I work 10+ hours a day typically with 3 days off. Which the hours kill my guitar time because it's a very demanding job. But soon I hope to change this.

Mastering engineer and co-owner of a mastering studio as my full time job - 6 days a week 8:30-6 pm.
In addition I do occassional work for a couple of UK Universities as a post graduate marker and examiner for Masters and PhDs. I've written a couple of books, edited some academic publications and occassionally publish academic articles. I also referree for a few academic journals and publishers and once in a blue moon copy edit. Education and qualifications (I get bored easily and do these to pass the time.): Undergraduate degrees - BA (PPE), BSc (Chemistry) and BA (Sociology). Post grad - PGCE, MBA, MSc (Analytical Chemistry) and MA (Sociology) Doctoral - PhD (Philosophy) Post Doc - D Litt. (Philosophy) Memberships etc - CChem MRSC (Chartered Chemist) retired, M AES (Member Audio Engineering Society), FRA. Some awards - did the post audio on two extended broadcasts that won Sony Music Industry awards and also did the post on a third that was nominated. MBA received a commendation as it was one of the three 'best' (whatever that meant) in that University in the year I completed. PhD also got the same sort of thing, though it was national ans was one of five rather than three. I also own a 4 acre small holding and so manage that with my wife.
