Rules
Here is where the magic happens: the REC board turns bedroom guitarists into real pros. Remember - it doesn't matter if you fail or pass, as long as you keep posting REC takes you will progress.
The entries will be graded by a number of instructors. After grading, members will be accredited with the appropriate points if they pass, and adjustments will be made to their REC level.
Passing grade is 6 or higher.

Very nice tone, I like it a lot!
 Sounds great. Original is being played with a bit more fluid feel, you play it a bit stiffer and staccato-like. Try to make the sustain of the notes a bit longer, and do a vibrato with a bit more strength, and you'll get there.

Very cool blues tone
And well played! As Ivan already mentioned, a tad staccato in bits. Blues often needs a bit of slide/slur of the fingers to sound bluesy. When played to strictly it almost sounds like Jazz. But this is a good problem to have as playing looser is usually not that hard. Player tighter is often a stick point. One note on vibrato, sometimes, it's good to land on a note and give it a hint of vibrato even if it's not written that way. Landing with authority on a given note gives the vibe of intentionality and purpose that makes a solo really shine. Hi friend! You did a good job on this one! I agree with the other instructors regarding the accentuation of your playing. Check out how Jonathan accentuates every phrase and adds staccato to give it a killer feel to the take. There are also some of the faster licks that has muted notes so they need some more job. By the way you did a good job. Well done!
