Here is where the magic happens: the REC board turns bedroom guitarists into real pros. Remember - it doesn't matter if you fail or pass, as long as you keep posting REC takes you will progress.

The entries will be graded by a number of instructors. After grading, members will be accredited with the appropriate points if they pass, and adjustments will be made to their REC level.
Passing grade is 6 or higher.

Original lesson: Sweep Picking Etude by Pavel Denisjuk

Hi, me again ;) Second attempt on this one as well. And this is still a hard one to play! The sweeps do sound much better now. As I was practicing I figured out that I was way too fast on the downstroke section of the sweeps Oo I realized this was an overall problem with my technique of playing sweep arpeggios, and tried to work hard on synchronization as you all advised me to do. cheers, S.

Hi mate! It's awesome the improvement comparing the first take and this one. You really improved the sync issues and now your technique is much more precise and tight. There are still some arpeggios that can sound cleaner and more defined (like at 00:10) but the overal is close to be perfect. You did a very good job. Congratulations!!

Very well done! Most of the take is nice and smooth. There are only a few moments but worth forgiving because of the level of this lesson smile.gif 0:11 for example. Very good job. Nice tone BTW smile.gif
