Hey Pavel im just wondering if your equipment has anything to do with the sound you get when you play fast. What i mean is when you play stuff fast there is always a very smooth sound but when i try i don't get that sound. Im pretty sure its my technique but iv been trying to get the sound so long now im starting to wonder if it is possible to get the same sound as you. So would you be able to have the same smooth sound if you were using a ibanez rg350dx straight into a no name amp?

thanks

You get the smooth sound from the neck pickup. You can notice that when i play fast runs i switch to neck pickup. Some pickups are better than others and have more difference in sound but in general you should be able to get the smooth sound with the neck humbucker.

That's also one of the reasons i bought JEM - the pickups are extra amazing and totally allow you to do what you want - they "feel" what you play smile.gif
