Hi all!

I´m on the lookout for something like a metronome, which not only gives me a tick-tack-tick-tack-thing, but something simular to a real drummer.
That is, because that tick-tack-thing isn´t enough for me to stay in rhythm! All the time, I use a simple metronome, I don´t really concentrate/feel the beat; other, if I use something like Steinberg´s Grooveagent as "metronome"... But, unfortunately, I don´t have my computer with me, all the time, so I can´t use Grooveagent, most of the time...

So... does anyone know, if there are metronomes on the market, which simulate something like a drum-track?
Hope so!

Thanks in advance!

Burkhard

Try out Rhythm Rascal!

I'm using it at the moment and its great- theres a free demo version that i believe has no limitations.

There are pre-made beats stored on your computer once installed- i enjoy using the metal one for practising.

Hope it works for you

EDIT- sorry didnt read you not always by your computer. I'm not that experienced with drum machines unfortunatley!

Thanks DeepRoots, I´m gonna try this software out...

But what I´m rather looking for, is a drummachine for taking it with you, not a software...
Guess, I´ve just found it in the Alesis SR16 (http://www.thomann.de/de/alesis_sr16.htm). I´m gonna order it for testing...

Greetings,
Burkhard

If you want a basic drum machine, the Alesis SR16 is an absolute classic. No frills, 10 year old design, but does the job really well.
