I was trying to setup a profile, only to figure out that my songs are too long and too big to be uploaded unless I pay them $30.

8MB limit is terrible, Even when I compress my songs all the way down they are still 30mb - Fail for me

And on top of that, when you pay them the limit is only increased to 25mb - I still can't use it!

Some songs I can get just under 8mb, But the majority of my songs are about 12-40mb when I compress them to MP3 (Which is all you are allowed to upload) - The uncompressed versions of my songs are about 120-170mb.




Yes its 8mb per song, And I can fit 3 of my 10 songs in that limit, And those are my 3 shortest ones (3:22, 4:05, and 5:04) Every other song I have after that is between 7 - 13 minutes, Even the other 20 or so "old" songs won't fit. Problem is, all the songs I would want people to hear are the longer ones, My 2 favorite songs of mine are both 12+ minutes

Hmm this is rather strange man... In what bit rate are you compressing those mp3s? I would suggest 128 bit rate than you will be able to fit all the songs...And it will sound good enough for online streaming anyway. Even a bit lower bit rate would pass well for those really long songs...People don't expect awesome quality on streaming web sites anyway...
