hi trond, I am glad to read ur guide to cubase. I am a beginner cubase user.I would like to ask you about saving the recorded track. I saved the track and tried to open in windows media player but is says that the player might not support the file type or might not support the codec that was used to compress the file.I am not sure how to fix this problem. Do i need to get anything to fix this problem? I will be glad if you can help. Thanks Are you trying to open the project file in a media player? If so, then that wont work. The project file is just sort of like a big indexing file that keeps track of what midi notes are played, which instruments are loade, what the track names are and where the recorded wave files are to be placed etc. You have to export an area of the project first to either wave or mp3 and the area is set with the markers. Do you know how to use the markers? I can make a quick screenshot guide if not This post has been edited by Trond Vold: Nov 4 2008, 11:35 PM -------------------- Guitars: Schecter Stiletto Classic, Jackson SLSMG, Ibanez RG-380 Japan, Gibson Les Paul Studio
