Check out Chowy's new lesson, "Nuno's Blues Style", and then post a reply to today's topic.

Chowy said it best: "Nuno´s style involves a lot of hammer-ons from nowhere, which he then mutes by hard-pressing the spot where the strings come out on the bridge using the side of his palm.".

Can you think of any other trademark Nuno techniques? Which ones?

String skipping and tapping over extended chord shapes. His pick attack is still one of the best around to me.

As Jerry said, Nuno's attack is among the best out there, both lead & rhythm. He sounds like his is chopping those strings, and everything comes out super clean. His ability to involve all kinds of rhythm changes and quantuplets is also notable.
