Cool, I'm gonna give this a listen. Can't believe the whole thing can just be listened to though...

Hey, just realised something : that's Mr Marty Friedman himself playing on the first song, Mercurial, from just after halfway to about 3 quarters in cool.gif

I will sacrifice my hour of Ear Training to this album tonight. Thanks! Loomis is one of my biggest practice inspirations and Nevermore is one of my favourite bands!

EDIT: Tragedy and Harmony as well as Chosen Time has Christine Rhoads, the guest singer on the Title track of Dreaming Neon Black and The Garden of Grey. Plus, Surrender Features Ihsahn of Emperor fame. That alone made the album worth buying, but it is pieced together very well. I was going through a phase of not having the ability to listen to an all guitar album since the last John 5 one, but this has set me straight. Thanks, Todd! It really is a shame that Nevermore is broken up, though.

Happy to share smile.gif Glad your diggin it! I'm impressed with it I must say. But I expected no less. It really is a shame about nevermore, but with all the reunion tours happening, how long can they stay broken up? I mean, is there really a nevermore without Jeff? Sort of like Megadeth without Dave?

No there isn't. The band is torn completely in half, though. Also! Will you by any chance be raising an army of your own as a part of the mentoring program here on GMC?

He really does get better just about each time I hear new music from him. He continues to grow as a player even at his level play which is pretty darn high. It really sets a great example. Go Jeff! Glad you liked the post and tunes BTW! smile.gif

I'll keep my eye out for new releases that might find happy ears here. Its great that artists are willing to stream for free now and not try to sue people for listening over the interweb!

I hope Jeff and and Warell 'll find way to solve things out!!
I'm happy to see resurection of Sanctuary, but Nevermore's way better!
