Hey Muris!

I am praticing your Beginner solo in D at the moment, and i almost nailed it, but i am having troubles with the 16th note triplet run. The deal is, that i can only execute the run at the speed of 60 bmp, and i need to increase that to 70. I know one way is to practice by metronome and slowly increase the beat rate, but i was wondering if i could practice it in a more effiecient way? Do you have any suggestions or is that the best way to practice it?

Fantastic lesson btw smile.gif

Hej GMC!

I am new to guitar effects, so i need your advice. I am looking for a distortion/overdrive stompbox, that will cover the sound of Steve Lukather - especially the songs he did with Toto (lead sections). What kind of gain does he use? Is a medium overdrive + delay and reverb the way to go, or do i need a more hi-gain kind of pedal?

Hope you can help me out smile.gif

Hello everyone!

I hope someone can help me out. I am new into guitareffects, and because of that, i have a hard time defining which effects are being used, when i listen to someone play.

I love the effect used in the video (link above), and as i can read, the guy uses a GT-pro multieffect processor. How can i create his sound, if i want to buy single effect pedals?

Hello everyone!

I want to increase the speed of my play, but i don't know how i can do this the most effective. I am playing pentatonic scale runs at the moment along with a metronome, but i don't know if this is the right approach, if i want to increase my speed. I have been doing so for like 3 weeks, but i have only gained a little increasement in speed. I am feeling more confident about the the patterns of the pentatonic scale though, and my accuracy has increased aswell smile.gif

Does anyone have a suggestion for how i should change my practice?
