Recently I have noticed that the special finish/paint stuff on the back of my parker guitars neck is becoming thin and worn where it meets the fretboard. It has become so thin that it is chipping/pealing off in one place and although the chip isn’t very big at the moment it could keep chipping back and become a real problem. The parker website says that this type of thing can be painted over with PPG paints but I don’t think you can get them in Britain. Could any other parker owners give me any tips on how to solve this problem? Have you encountered anything like this yourself? I have only had the guitar for one year and I have treated it well so this wear is really worrying me.
