Update

First of all I want to thank everybody that replied to my prior posting about help with my singing voice. Your input helped me greatly, I went through several of Nemanya's lessons especially the ones on breathing and my voice has become a lot stronger. The chorus of the song was impossible for me last time, even though I know it's not perfect this time I was able to give it a go.

I posted another sound clip for some more input and see whether it is just me that thinks I'm improving lol. I used a backing track because I really wanted the focus to be my voice. Thank you all so much and I would greatly appreciate your input once again.

Hi everybody,


I've been playing the guitar since I was about 15 but I only recently [less than a month] started singing and playing. I am much to shy to sing in front of people because I do not have confidence in my voice. I would really like honest opinions on what you think of my voice and how you think I should improve. I recorded this using the windows sound recorder it's an incubus song called 11am. I also included a little clip of me improvising because I would also like some tips on how to improve my guitar playing.

I was jamming in the dorms with my friend Mike and he started playing this really cool tune on his keyboard. I started jamming to it on my guitar and we developed it into a song.


This was all done on sonar. My friend is majoring is musical engineering so he's the master of mixing, effects etc. anyways i hope you like this tune. please tell me what you think!
