Hey everybody!

Just wondering what everyone thinks about Van Halen going on tour with David Lee Roth back in front?

Personally I love that Diamond Dave is back. Wasn't the same without him imo. Not sure about Wolfgang on bass though. A 16 year old in Van Halen...just seems wrong for some reason. But hey all the more power to him....16 and living the rock star dream.

Yeah he's Eddies's son. I'm not sure how good he is, I personally haven't heard him but he must be OK if they are going to let him tour. You'd think anyways....

EVH was a guitar pioneer, the band was aweful without Roth (no offence to anyone) but i dont kno how well its gonna work, they can potentially be great if they not arguing

I agree completely....if ego's can stay in check they should be great. I'm hoping to see the show in Calgary in December.

Muris...they probably have to see if they are going to get along first before they start heading overseas. biggrin.gif They may not even make it to December.

Word. I may go see them in charlotte or greensboro. I think they had some good stuff with Sammy, but the best was definitely roth. Wolfie I'm not sure about, I'm pretty sure he's great on a guitar, so he may be a decent bassist. We can hope.

I never seen them with Roth, so I've got to go. Also, I think Sammy was excellent for the band. I've seen them with Sammy many times, and it rocked, all except the druken 2004 reunion with Sammy. Eddie was horrible then, so hopefully he'll be back in top form.

:crossfingers: Detroit will be rocking October 22nd!!

I still think this is awesome, but I don't like the end when he throws down the guitar and picks up a beer.
