Muris,
You are an amazing talent!! I found this site recently and your lessons are very inspiring!! Could you explain the trilling technique you do on your "B flat minor phrasing-avanced" lesson? It looks like you are trilling on the same fret with your middle and ring finger? Looking at the tab didn't clear anything up for me. Looks like a really cool technique and any insight would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Monte

Thanks for your kind words Monte,
and welcome to GMC!! smile.gif

The idea for that kind of trill is to use 2 fingers insted of just 1,
gives you more speed with less effort actually.
So it's just like you said, ring and middle finger on the same fret,
one at the time, hope this helps. smile.gif

Thanks for the reply Muris and Nighthawk!! Muris have you ever done a lesson on your hybrid picking technique? I have never really seen anybody use it like you and it makes so much sense on some of these licks you do. I would love to see a lesson on it if you ever get a chance. Thanks.

In Muris "Bb-Minor Phrasing Advanced" lesson is a nice hybrid picking part (0:20) for example ..

But i agree, a complete hybrid picking lesson would be cool .. i love the sound of it smile.gif
