Hey GMC, Im having some temporary difficulties with my computer
A while back, I purchased a Logitech webcam, installed it, wasnt happy with it, and reterned it tongue.gif
Today, I was removing some old programs which take up space on the computer, removed logitech's drivers but not the .exe.
Now, everytime I come on, a window appears telling me I need to install the drivers, but I don't have the disc, nor do I want it
I tried using the "add or remove programs" in control panel, and tried deleting it in program files, but it says that because it's in use, it cannot be removed

Does anybody know how to solve this problem? sad.gif
Thank you GMC smile.gif

Try to delete the  folder of logitech.

It's usually in C:\praogram files  smile.gif

I think if you enter Windows in safe mode you can delete it without problems or you can purchase some safe Delete program like the one that comes with Tune Up. This kind of program delete everything that is undeletable tongue.gif

Go to device manager and disable the device mate, see if that helps.

If Ivan's solution is not working try this smile.gif

Start -> Run
then type msconfig and click OK

under tabs Services or Startup find the Logitec webcam program and uncheck it, after rebooting you should be able to uninstall it.

See if this will help smile.gif

What about a restore point?
Windows makes one everytime you install some sofware or hardware.

Is this happening when you first turn it on? Sounds like it to me but I am not sure.

Use MSCONFIG to disable the logitech device from trying to find a driver. Here is a link if you are not familiar with it. If you have questions ask and I will help you further.
Windows XP or VISTA?
