Hey guys, anybody out there use guitar rig 3 with their d.a.w. ie: Sonar, i was wondering do you have to add this to the d.a.w. vst plug-ins folder or do you use it some how as a stand alone unit, not sure how to use both together????? any help would be much appreciated...Thanks!!

I wondered this at first too.

You do not open them both at the same time on your computer, just you DAW should be open. (by the way I have Ableton Live Lite)

I would guess that if its not already listed as a plugin in you DAW then yes add to the plug ins folder. Then just find a way to apply it to the track you want.

i.e. there should be some sort of manual for this in you DAW.... just go to the Help toolbar and look for plugin management or something like that.

Move GR3 dll file to Sonar's VSTplugins folder, then open Sonar>audio track>right click Fx window>Audio Fx> vst plugins and you should find GR3 there .
Of course, in the same track check Input Echo to On, otherwise you will not hear anything ! smile.gif

How about re-install and assign the Vst folder to install it?
