She said the calluses on my fingers hurt her hand!

Haha, I feel for you mate, I really do
Luckily I'm not a hand holding kinda guy, so it's fine by me
if my girl don't want to hold hands
Posted by: Bogdan Radovic Mar 24 2010, 07:12 PM
hahaha I didn't thought this was possible! You must have been practicing a lot!

I already said that in the "gmc hurted my fingers" thread: use moisturizing soap and a rich hand lotion. This will reduce or prevent calluses from getting to hard, but they'll still be hard enough to play guitar without pain.

I used to have horrible skin on my fingers because of too much playing but I never really cared a lot Now, after many years, I even see some slight deformations and I still don't care much.

They seem to go in cycles. Sometimes it will feel like I have no calluses at all...then other times they will be rock hard with sharp edges.

+1 I use mine to crack the eggs!

My fingers look like Frankenfingers due to playing and biting my nails (and sometimes skin...)..
...and you guessed it, I don't care much

This thread is just a GMC Funny waiting to happen
I have callusses, but it seems quite smooth.

Good Idea Staffy! Maybye if I get famous one day, and an interviewer ask me "Why did you start playing guitar?", I can answer "Easiest way to break an egg."

oh , i can can sense her real motives
yo "P" , walk back towards the sound of my voice and whatever you do , do not look back,

Do you have calluses on both hands or what's the real problem here?
Posted by: Daniel Realpe Mar 27 2010, 12:59 AM
man the drummer in my band really has calloused hands,
and he did had your same problem...hehe, I guess it's time for her to hold you by other parts such as your shoulders, or arms
