Task 2 : http://www.guitarmasterclass.net/ls/beginn...-picking-etude/
Record and upload your take of this lesson by Wednesday 8th Feb. As you may have guessed, picking is on the agenda. I got you guys to start working on hand synch / picking with your previous task and this time we're continuing that train and stepping it up a notch. The patterns move around a lot so they will be a nice challenge but the whole thing is really musical so it should be very satisfying to play. Notice how he uses alternate picking for the whole thing, even those arpeggios Tempo.. hopefully it doesn't need to be said again anymore that I'm totally happy with you recording your take at a lower tempo than the lesson. There's 2 main reasons why this makes sense.. 1: You only have a week and you're only human 2: 'Intermediate' is a very broad range.. some of you will be closer to managing those tempos than others so it's only fair that your boundaries are pushed as individuals because you're all at different levels Dig in and dig deep !! -------------------- |

Cool! This stuff is exactly what I need. This one will be challenging too but task 1 has prepared me (btw, almost got it smooth at full speed last night, still working on it).

Some german words I can't write here escaped my mouth when I saw it's a level 6 lesson.
Then I remembered one word from the Atlanta-guy...PRACTICE! dd...our guess was wrong... And just for fun, I'll throw in a random video as well. Listen to the lady towards the end -------------------- |

I'd rather this than that, tbh Same here, same here Practiced this for 30 minutes now and got the first 5 patterns down, could even keep up with the slowest BT. But that last pattern is insane!... This post has been edited by Gitarrero: Feb 1 2012, 09:16 PM -------------------- |

I have learned all the patterns and can almost play them at 70 bpm. That's about where I am right now. Still having some difficulty with the final pattern (little finger to 16th fret to be exact) though. -------------------- ![]() |
