What are your future plans for lessons? smile.gif

And by any chance could you do an Alex Lifeson (Rush) lesson? your style kinda gives me an old rock n' roll kinda feel, i dont know if you are a fan of rush though.

Sounds great Ben,

may be worth talking with Muris as well (https://www.guitarmasterclass.net/guitar_forum/index.php?showtopic=7431)

as it would be particularly nice if you could cover different aspects of Lifeson's style.

Cheers,
Tony

Sure other members will come in with others Ben but some albums which I particularly like are 2112; Fly by Night and; Moving Pictures. I think there's probably a 'Best of Rush' album though what it's called I don't know.

Cheers,
Tony

I love your classical pieces. Its really awesome sounding stuff.

Are they original pieces?

How do you write/assemble your work?

Thanks smile.gif except Classical Right Hand Technique Malaguena Lesson they are
all original pieces ( those 2 I learn years ago they are classical pieces )
about the rest of them I just sit down and start to improvise and it just
come out.. I start with one chord and trying to hear the rest in my head then
I'm just looking how to do it on the guitar smile.gif if you have a couple of chord you
can record them then try to come up with some basic lead to folow them
ufter that try to combine them together you will find that is very intresting..
and then you'll see that you get wired looking shapes on the guitar so it realy
open your mind to new stuff...
hope thats answer your question... if there is somthing more let me know
and good luck smile.gif

Figure out what you want in life early.Wether it's the girl, the partying

I'm 23 years old and living in Israel in a small town nothing
much to do here so recently I started to take the guitar much more
seriously.. I'm playing since I'm 12 and I took for three years classical
lessons.. it helped a lot but the main problem is that I did'nt learn theory
I just wanted to play ( stupid me smile.gif ) I was a kid and I did'nt know what I
need so all the work of learning scale and improvise etc... ( playing on the electric )
I learn myself so it took me a lot of
time ( there were nobody to show me sad.gif... so my progress was very slow...
ever since a joined here and seen all the great teachers here doing crazy stuff it rely
inspire me and open my mind and now I just know what I need to practice and how to get were
I want to be... my goal as a musician is to make a living doing the thing I love the most
( playing off course!! ) so I started doing that I'm teaching guitar lessons I have a few students
so it rely pushes me to be in a higher level... the most important thing for me is to always be
and feel that I'm progressing and moving foreword the last 4 years I did'nt make any at all...
so that basecly it... smile.gif
my life story in short... hehehe

Ben, I just wanted to let you know that i love your lessons. You have a very smooth style that relies on very unique compositions and non typical progressions. You really put soul into your playing and it shows in every note. Thanks for your participation at this great site. You are a fantastic addition. Max

I particularly like the Don't Take, Pent. Bending and Int. Solo. Those are the ones i've tackled so far but I plan to dig into the acoustic stuff next. I look forward to your next lesson. Max
