Hey guys,

I have decided to sell a couple of things that I'm not really using to finanace a new instrument, first would be my amp:

MODEL: Blackstar HT-5 head and mini stack
COST NEW: £400.00
AGE: approx 3 months old
CONDITION: As new.

This thing has a lot of features for a small 5w amp head and has received rave reviews throughout the UK, comes with all ancillaries including leads, footswitch, power chord.

Yours for £340 plus delivery.

Please contact me for a quote for postage and packing (This thing is huge and heavy so bear that in mind!) but collection is preferred, if any one in UK is interested contact me and I may be able to deliver.

Info: http://www.blackstaramps.co.uk/products/ht-5/ht-5s.html

If no interest it will be going on Ebay this Friday.

Thanks for looking!

What sort of sound this thing has? How is it for Symphony X/Dream theater like style? Is it versatile?

I might be a potential buyer of this baby - I have 19th birthday at 20th of July and I need an amp - badly, so I might get this as my birthday gift:)

EDIT: It seems its not an amp for me:( Youtube users said, that on clean channel its very silent and I would want to get the distortion from my pod, thus using the clean channel... I am afraid, I would had problems with being heard on band rehersals (my mates have 60W and 100W lamps...)

I understand it may get bright, especially with the 100w lamp, but they won't sound much laugh.gif

Trying to get used to stage-lights? tongue.gif

I would be interested in the amp, but doubt it will be worth it for me with shipping etc. since I can get a new one for 600€ sad.gif

Well a 5w amp is only in real terms half as loud as a 50w amp, but I understand your point, the good thing about these amps is the ISF feature which gives you british rock tones at one extreme and american style at the other so it is very versatile for an amp of this price, I had a VT15 before this and it just blows it away in terms of tone AND volume!
As for the distortion you would be insane to use a pod through the clean channel, the grind on this thing is ten times better than any pod tone and with a pedal to push it that bit further can produce great metal tones!

I think shipping/packing would be around 200 stirling so plus the cost of the amp it would be around 630 euro, so I kinda see your point! Thanks for the interest though! smile.gif
