I know this is the fifth of may, but i just woke from the may 1 celebrations I live in the capital of my country, so I went over to the park where people have been celebrating this day for nearly 100 years! I guess that when this tradition started, it was more about speeches, but nowadays, its really just about drinking, being togehter with your friends drinking, listen to good music and drink, so how do you guys celebrate this day ?

I only got a couple of hours to spend on may 1st(that's another story), but it was great, no clouds at all, so warm and company was beautiful , I was with this gal and we went swimming( water was still pretty damn cold, but so refreshing) then we just laid in the sun getting a little tan and I smoked my first Cuban cigar, which lasted like 70 minutes and cost 30€ which is like 46 dollars!

Yeah, first of may is huge in Denmark
It was originally the fight day for workers, and this is celebrated ín two spots: Tivoli, a big amusement park, here mostley right wingers show up, I've heard its kinda boring really
And then there is "Fælledparken" which is a huge park where left wingers and minoritys often meet up and celebrate all day while drinking and hearing loud music, its really fun
"Fælledparken" is located on the east side of town, "Østerbro" (Translated = East-bridge) were you there
?

I am living in Aalborg. There is also a Tivoli here. I still got to know Kobenhavn.
I was at home writing the student instructor lesson, for competition, but when I came to rehearse with some friends I saw there was lots of people around.
Won´t miss it next year.
