Here is where the magic happens: the REC board turns bedroom guitarists into real pros. Remember - it doesn't matter if you fail or pass, as long as you keep posting REC takes you will progress.

The entries will be graded by a number of instructors. After grading, members will be accredited with the appropriate points if they pass, and adjustments will be made to their REC level.
Passing grade is 6 or higher.

Hi!!! First of all thank you for making this I am really honored! smile.gif
You did a good job at the beginning but than for some reason lost timing and the everything went off! I think you need to brake this lesson in to pieces and master it part by part!
Try to do the main riff first and really focus on the click and your timing! And when you are ready move on to the next part!

Hey Dieter!

As Alex said, you started out in good timing but lost it along the way. My guess is that nervousness combined with focusing only on what you are playing and not on being in sync with the backing track are the cause of all this.

My advice would be to take each part and start working on it separately until you can play it with confidence and without having to concentrate so hard on your guitar. Then put it all together, having the same good feeling and re-record this take wink.gif

what do you think?

Cosmin

Hi Dieter, it's good to see you in the REC Zone ! smile.gif

The advice that Alex and Cosmin have given is really the only way to do it so I won't repeat it again. You're in the stage of still concentrating on where your fingers need to go so you're not quite ready to let go of things and feel the groove just yet.

Once your fingers are able to move to where they need to go without requiring hard thought, you'll be able to concentrate on the timing then. I'd suggest keeping this track as an ongoing project where you can take your time with it and improve it section by section. In the meantime I would look at some easier lessons to help you accomplish your immediate requirements which is timing and changing chords/picking notes. smile.gif
