Sing Or Scream?

Hey GMC, I have quite the dilemma. For about a year now, I have been struggling with a choice. I Want to learn vocals to go along with the guitar but I do not know what I should do. The choice is learn to sing (like Kamelot) or learn to growl (like Behemoth or Chthonic). I obviously cannot do both. People tell me that I have good range yet I know I do not have tone. I am in love with all kinds of metal, especially the bands listed above. But if I had to pick a favorite band, it would be Kamelot. And I am currently making music that has soft guitars yet aggressive drums and bass. I am also intrigued in symphinic elements as well as a huge range of other genres. Please tell me what should I choose. More aggressive or more melodic?

Acoustica Mixcraft

Hey GMC! I just downloaded the trial version of Acoustica Mixcraft 5. I was wondering if anyone who has used this before knows how to arm a virtual midi instrument and use the keyboard to record it. I know you can use the keyboard because I have already tried. But I do not know how to record it. Please help

Sort Of New But Not Really

What up GMC! My name is Alex and some of you may remember me as SIGMA7 a long time ago. I had to leave due to tendinitis...now I have arthritis. But that does not stop me from playing. Anyway, for the new guys here who do not know me, I am a metal-head through and through. I love Kamelot, Behemoth, Sonata Arctica, Chthonic, and pretty much everything else that is metal. And for some reason, I have a strong addiction to j-rock. I am currently teaching guitar to a few students at school in return for money or favors and on my free time, the gym is my second home.
