Hiya Muris hope you are well

I've been practicing the Beginner Solo in D and almost got it down apart from the 16th note triplets at full tempo, (its a bit hit and miss at 60bpm tbh).

I was wondering if you can pm the backing track so I can send you a recording, or is there a way of sending the feed from my sound card output and through my podxt and record the track to my DAW?

Wish I had a video recorder so you could actually see me play and you could give me some feed back as why I seem to 'choke' on the tripplet section.

Cheers

Craig

After many takes rolleyes.gif this is the best one I came up with. The tapping section is not in time tho sad.gif

I'll keep practicing and prob post another take to see if I've improved.

That was nice effort! smile.gif

I can see that you're struggling with some technique elements
but I'm not gonna talk a lot about that atm
cause you're certainly aware of it.
What I would like to point you at is timing and notes duration.
You seems to be in a hurry a lot, even at slowest parts in the lesson!
Relax, you have all the time in the world to execute those notes,
and let them ring as much as possible, don't kill them just like that,
it's a piece of music after all,let them sing for you. smile.gif

Yes I see what you mean. I had a look back at your video and compared it to mine, its worlds apart in feel and note sustain.

Definately right about being in a hurry, as I do get anxious to the 16th note tripplet section comes up! lol

Thanks for your comments ...back to practicing

Nothing to be afraid tho,few more attempts
and I'll start feeling a lot more comfortable with it,
that's how things go!!

Looking forward to your next take and progress,
let me know if I can help more. smile.gif

Hiya Muris been practicing this most of the day. smile.gif

Here is the final take of the day before my finger tips fall off laugh.gif

Took your advice and let the notes ring for longer and not to hurry...its not perfect but I would say its an improvement on the previous track tongue.gif

Thanks again
