Crappy audio but sure this sounds little bit of old 'tallica. Of course the song structure might change...but "Lords of summer" Eh...very...very non metal laugh.gif

Lets see how fast someone covers this in Youtube.

It sounds indeed like the old days! I am very curious to see what they will come up with smile.gif

I think I stated this before, but my favorite albums are Load, Re-load,The black Album and Garage Days smile.gif People might have something against me now, so I'd better start running biggrin.gif

I was sure people would find a bit peculiar smile.gif Well, I like what I like and I think those albums sound modern and fresh even today - especially Load and Reload smile.gif On the other hand, I've never been the thrash fan - never liked Megadeth, Anthrax, Judas Priest, Manowar, Slayer or other similar bands biggrin.gif I respect them all for being such important parts of rock history, but I don't resonate with the music wink.gif

It sounds cool, I like it! In my case I like every album by Metallica except St. Anger and Death Magnetic. This two last ones are ok but I get bored of them. The other albums are great for me, including Load & Reload. I have to make an exception with "Garage Inc" because I've never heard that album, just the promo songs.

You should definitely listen to it biggrin.gif Even if it's a cover album, it's VERY, VERY well done! Here are my favorites:

You guys must really be joking when you say this sounds like old Metallica. This is what old Metallica sounds like to me

and it sounds nothing like the song in OP (to me at least biggrin.gif )

WeePee You are really excited about this tune huh? tongue.gif tongue.gif

Lars is such a crap drummer. For such a famous metal drummer, he just isn't that great. There's a lot of youtube vids showing live stuff he messes up (or even worse waters down).

I have a friend drummer who's one of the biggest Metallica fans alive smile.gif He put up a show a few months ago, consisting in live drum playthroughs of 2-3 Metallica tunes from each album, with a little bit of storytelling in between. If Metallica had him as a drummer, you would've probably liked it a lot biggrin.gif
