Why Drop C Is Cgcfad ?

To turn this into drop D, we only tune the low E one step lower (E -> D), to get DADGBE. Drop C is one step down from Drop D (DADGBE becomes CGCFAD). --- What you have listed, C-F-A#-D#-G-C, is known as C tuning, It's E standard, but everything has been tuned down 2 steps.
