New Member Intro

I was in a band in high school & we played a few local shows. We had a pretty good following & were a good band but not necessarily good musicians. My playing was fair at the time & I am now getting back into playing after a 20 year break. I forgot how hard this thing was to learn & play. My main influences are (in no particular order) Hendrix, Randy Rhoads, Zakk Wylde, George Lynch, Tony Iommi, Dimebag Darrel, all Megadeth guitarists. My main band influences are Megadeth, Slayer (great rhythm, wish leads were better), Black Sabbath, 80's metal, old Metallica, Pantera, Iron Maiden. I hope to learn a lot here. Right now I'm getting my gear together, listening to lessons online. Basically doing some homework first. I just got an amp off of Cragislist yesterday.
