can anyone recommend the book/dvd Fretboard Roadmaps??
http://www.amazon.com/Fretboard-Roadmaps-Essential-Patterns-Techniques/dp/0793520886
I wonder whether it's a good buy, I might ask it for x-mas. There's also a DVD version, which one should I get??
Kaz
I've never tried using that book before, but you may want to consider this DVD by Doug Doppler. It is probably the best fretboard theory DVD I've seen so far, I can't imagine needing another one after studying this one. Doug demonstrates in this video some ways Joe Satriani taught him fretboard theory.
