Geetings!

Now its time for me to say hello to all of you guys.
My name is Alex, im a 20 years old guy from Germany and i play the guitar since one week^^
I always had sympathy for this instrument but never got the final kick for start learning before. But as i found the GMC by a lucky coincidence... i thougt that this could be the right way. So i went out, bought a decent acoustic guitar and signed up for the GMC... so far so good. wink.gif

By now, im actually busy with theory and my handling... hiting the right freds and strings, holding the pic... you know what i mean wink.gif But im certain to manage that soon.^^

I dont know whats to tell else right now but i think time will lead that...
If you got any questions... fire at will wink.gif

- Sunny

I especially use to hear metal... Machine Head, Children Of Bodom, In Flames, Trivium,... for example. Things that make my head bangin ^^
But its always a matter of my mood...

btw. Alexi Laiho (Children of Bodom) and Rob Flynn (Machine Head) where the guys who made me want to be a guitarist.

HI im a noob too, the hardest songs i can play is INTRO TO NOTHING ELSE MATTERS... biggrin.gif

lol kidding.

To get out of noob territory quickly check these acoustic lessons out:
https://www.guitarmasterclass.net/clean-guitar-lessons.htm

Normally people would reccomend the begginer lessons which i think you should quickly breeze through. Also buy an electric soon (it helps you improve, its a lot easier to play, more fun, lets you make full usage of GMC, gives you more variety of genres you can attempt). How many more reasons do you want? You can buy a squier, yamaha or ibanez starter kit for a fairly good price.

Id also suggest you check out these tabs on UG (to prove to people you aint a noob soon) which are for acoustic:
-Time of your life by Green Day
-Nothing Else Matters by Metallica
-Through the Glass by Stone Sour <<<< Amazing song
-Wonderwall by Oasis

Instructor Kai is also from Germany (i think).

Good luck
