So, I was all night doing a presentation for my History of Popular Music discipline when I think about playing something to chill off, however, as soon as I pick up the stratocaster, Bum, there it goes...The E string just broke...Not to worry, I have my schecter 7 string, ah ha, you can't stop me...Picked up the shecter, started to tune it...BUM, there it goes, the 7th string...Ah ha, not to worry, I still have six strings so I can play...After 5 minutes, bum, there goes the 6th string...

Please tell me I'm not cursed laugh.gif

I played a gig a couple of weeks ago. Third note or something when kicking in for an awesome start, my A-string (yes, on the bass!) broke! blink.gif
Luckily I had one with 5 strings, so I just changed the fingering and managed to complete the gig with no serious wrong notes wink.gif

Ive also managed to break an E and a D-streng biggrin.gif

I played acoustic guitar on one party and all 6 strings broke over night. Then I turned guitar upside down and started playing rhythm with hands. People didn't really care whether I had strings or not, they liked it even more as a percussion instrument smile.gif

Many years ago, I was playing guitar at home, bent a string and it happened that the 1st string broke in the same time in both nut and bridge, and the string just fell over my left hand huh.gif

And no one believed me unsure.gif

p.s. It was a war time and we did not have a thing called 'new strings' so I had to play one set for few years, so it is not a wonder that it happened biggrin.gif

Once I got my A string broken on a gig, and I took one from my backup set, and I noticed the ball of the previous string was stuck in the bridge hole of my strat... I took nearly 30 mins to get it out and audience was really pissed biggrin.gif
