I would love to see more of this under used technique, I find it to be the best 'shredding tool' of all. Please help us out Kris! biggrin.gif

Lots of people like sweep picking, but honestly I dont really like it at all. I dont even want learn it. I dont like the way it sounds.

I always sucked at sweepicking, so it wouldn't be to bad. But I don't really need to learn it anyways.

Why don't people just speedpick instead of sweepicking?

Ever heard of Malmsteen? Many of his fast passages have a melodic line unlike many other artist and sweep picking is the key.

There is to my knowledge only one guitarist who can alternate/speedpick arpeggios : Steve Morse!
