I've been playing couple of years did in person lesson for a bit.
Progressed a lot now working on shred tap and sweep. Ima level 5 working my way to level 7
I have keeper amp with ltd and ibanez both emg pickups.
I like Metallica and any anything with good solos.

412 Cabinet Vs 212 For House Playing

hi i tried a peavey valveking 100w head and peavey valveking 412 cabinet and loved it playing at guitarcenter

would the cabinet produce enough tone or lead while playing in bedroom since the volume would have to be really low

also i dont know if 212 would have the same clarity and clean tone as the 412 did

does anyone recommend any good low priced 212 cabinets

Pickup Screw Wont Stay In The Wood

hi gmc users

can you please help me out.

i have done this many times but i just bought a new ibanez rg1570 prestige.
i was adjusting the height of the pickups by turning the screws.

one screw on the neck pick up just does not stay in.
i can pull it out and push it in the wood easily.

the hole where the screw goes in is now bigger than it should be and the screw doesn't work.

now the pickup doesnt go in or out just stays loose and i would like to have it tightened and secured.

Tapping..hum/vibrating Strings

Hi,

can anyone please help me with an issue/ tell me how i can fix this.

i am practicing tapping lesson and i can get every sound to come out perfect with only one problem

when i move from one string to another, the other string vibrates or hums, taking away from the sound of the new string.
