Hey Guys,

Long time!! I haven't recorded anything for nearly a year wow!! But I haven't left practicing guitar just yet. biggrin.gif So, for last couple of months, I was trying to learn this awesome improvisation solo by Rick Graham by ear and while its not yet perfect, I wanted to record and move on. Hope you guys like it. Any feedback is welcome.

Thanks,
Chandra

Congrats, very cool interpretation. I like it very much smile.gif

I love this improv made by Rick. To be honest I waited a long time to saw again something "no shredding" made by him. Funny thing is that he made with this improv more views than with others shredding stuff. Was a really viral video smile.gif I personally listened for 1000 times biggrin.gif

Hey Chandra! Yeah long time man! Your playing sounds great on this and it is good to see you are still playing and very well I might add. Is that a new guitar? I don't remember seeing you play that one before, love the finish!

Thanks Monica and AK. Yup, I tried to learn shred but I realized I just couldn't so focusing on melodic phrasing stuff. Thats what I was good at and I spoiled it completely now. sad.gif

AK, nope, this is the first ever guitar I bought. I starved to buy this guitar. It was just out of tune all the time so I recently bought Gotoh tremolo and other items so replaced the cheap hardware.. I did it myself and still not yet sure if it stays in tune. But I love this guitar. smile.gif

Beautiful playing man! Your take is very enjoyable on this video. It has the perfect feeling and a very cool tone. I don't know the original impro but this sounds like something from yourself. You made it yours. Good job!
