). I'd suggest taking 10 minutes trying it by just resting your left hand fingers on the strings, and strumming some fast rhythms with your right. Then try it by chopping down with your right hand palm edge while you strum. |

Ok, so this was slightly different from what I understood, but Tank covered it nicely. Since you have a whole line of Xs, the bar technique would work well here ... I find palm muting works better if you have say 2 or 3 of the lower pitched strings to mute, but you could prbably get it to work either way as Tank said. -------------------- Check out my Instructor profile
