Creating Good Feedback, and bein able to control it

Your position in front of the amp is also important - it depends on how close you are to the amp and the exact position. If you can crank you amp loud you can experiment with it, but your neighbours may not like it so do ya reckon a good way to control it would be to have volume pedal....so for example......when ur playing u might play a chorus with the volume pedal say half way....then at the end of yur chorus u want some feedback so u get on the volume pedal so its high as then turn around and face yur amp then when u want to go back to normal u just move away from the amp and turn yur volume pedal back down...........do ya reckon that would work? I was playing with it in my room just sitting near the amp and the only thing to get feedback was to turn guitar to the amp and get the right position with it.
