Have anyone played on a Burns Brian may signature? I have always wondered how it would be to play on one of those, they sure look .. well .. different

Yes I have - fantastic tonal possibities - I believe there are something like 3x3x3 pickup combinations...
To me, it was a little tricky to use for technical playing though. -------------------- I do not have any natural talent at all - you can beat me with hard work.

I really REALLY want a Brian May guitar and am very close to buying one. The only thing that puts me off though is the whammy-bar. It looks like it would go out of tune very easily.
Would there be anything you could do to stabilise it, in theory? Except ofcourse, for screwing the bridge down and not using it! |

I have played one, its a friend of mine and its his pride and joy, when he first bought it it was terrible, played really bad, he sent it away to a tech guy, I`m not 100% sure exactly what the guy did to it, it cost my friend £100 (UK stirling) and when he got it back it was at least playable, personally I still dont like it, I like the action on my guitars super low and with this it just doesnt seem possible, its great for rhythm stuff tho, a nice strummy guitar if that makes sense?
