You have to work on your improv skills by learning scales, patterns and lots of licks. Only way to get good at it is to practice jamming. It first your phrases won't sound great but you will improve over time. Its always a good idea to learn as many licks as you can, then you can incorporate them into your own leads playing...
Regarding technique, just use GMC search for terms like fingerpicking, alternate picking etc if you need help with any certain technique aspect... -------------------- For GMC support please email support (at) guitarmasterclass.net
