Ska has a very particular sound to it. First check out Sinisa's new lesson, "http://www.guitarmasterclass.net/ls/Ska-Guitar/", and then post a reply to today's topic.

It seemed like the 90's were a big time for ska music. What was your favorite 90's ska band and why?

I would say 'Ghost Town' by The Specials but that's more like reggea because it's too slow for Ska.. but they were mostly a Ska band. smile.gif

For me I'd have to say Buck-O-Nine... although Goldfinger would be high up on the list too.

I have to go back before the 80's for my favourite Ska artists, although I was at School listening to 2 Tone in the early 80's. I'm more into all the original stuff, people like Prince Buster, and the like. Also the inventor of ska.....Mr Ernest Ranglin. (Who I've seen live a couple of times and he's completely awesome!!!)
